F-35B Lightning II RAM Panels Paint Masks Set /Italeri kits/ 1/48

The set includes five sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
F-35B STOVL
Lightning II is the latest 5th generation US fighter jet. It is made by Lockheed Martin Corporation and together with F-22 and B-2 it is the backbone of the US Stealth fleet. F-35 comes in three variants, A ,B and C. F-35B is a STOVL – Short Take-Off, Vertical Landing jet. It is designed to be used by the US MARINES and few foreign customers. It features complex systems twisting the nozzle and deflecting the jet stream, which takes about 30% of the fuel space available on the A model. F-35B nozzle is also shorter compared to the A. It lacks the landing hook available on the F-35A and F-35C. Besides US, other F-35B customers are Italy, UK, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.
F-35B RAM Panels
is a masking set designed using Italeri #2810 kit. Using the masks with any other tooling is not recommended. The set covers all RAM panels of the kit, excluding some straight lines, which can be masked easily with tape. Additional masking might be needed, depending on the mode in which your completed kit will be presented. This set compliments the Canopy, Wheels and EOTS mask set by DN Models. The latter one is designed for the same F-35B Italeri tooling. The F-35B RAM panels set is large and features numerous masks. Careful planning and evaluation of the kit and its building process is necessary before applying masks and spraying the paint.
